How do I select the right UFIBER disc?

1. Select diameter

Choose Ø13, 19, 22, 25 or 30 mm according to access, contact area and tool clearance.

2. Select grit

Choose from #150 to #1000. Lower grit numbers are coarser; higher grit numbers are finer.

3. Confirm machine

Use a compatible electric rotary tool or spindle. For automated production, the disc can be integrated into CNC machines or robotic arms with a suitable spindle/end-effector. Keep rotational speed at or below 15,000 RPM.

Important: These values are NOGA MT starting recommendations for process development. Actual machining parameters depend on workpiece material, burr size, selected grit, disc diameter, contact geometry, machine rigidity and required surface finish. For CNC and robotic applications, begin at the lower end of the recommended range and optimize gradually after confirming stable contact and acceptable disc wear. Do not exceed the maximum disc speed of 15,000 RPM.
